95% लाने के बाद भी admission नहीं? CUET क्या है और Board Marks क्यों काफ़ी नहीं — समझना ज़रूरी
95% लाने के बाद भी admission guaranteed नहीं है। India में अब college की असली entry — CUET score से तय होती है।
हर साल April–May में एक ही pattern है।
CBSE result आता है। घर में खुशी होती है। 90%, 95%, 97%।
फिर अगला सवाल आता है — “अब college कैसे मिलेगा?”
और यहाँ ज़्यादातर families एक बड़ी reality से पहली बार टकराती हैं।
Board marks अब college admission का ticket नहीं हैं।
CUET है।
CUET क्या है — 10 सेकंड में समझिए
Common University Entrance Test (CUET) — NTA (National Testing Agency) द्वारा conduct की जाने वाली national entrance exam।
एक exam — 250+ universities में admission का रास्ता।
2022 में शुरू हुई। हर साल May–June में होती है।
और हर साल इसकी importance बढ़ रही है।
Board Marks अब क्या decide करते हैं — और क्या नहीं
Board marks अब qualifying threshold हैं — selection criteria नहीं।
मतलब: Class 12 pass होना ज़रूरी है। लेकिन 95% लाने वाले और 80% लाने वाले — दोनों CUET के same playing field पर हैं।
DU (Delhi University) में CUET mandatory है।
BHU, JNU, Jamia Millia, Hyderabad University, Allahabad University — सब CUET accept करते हैं।
Private universities भी अब CUET की तरफ़ shift हो रही हैं।
India के college admission का नया सच:
Board exam ने door खोला। CUET अंदर ले जाती है।
CUET exam pattern — क्या आता है और कैसे होता है
CUET में तीन sections हैं:
Section 1 — Language Test:
English या Hindi compulsory। Regional language optional।
Language use करने की ability test होती है।
Section 2 — Domain Subjects:
आपने जो subjects चुने — वो यहाँ test होते हैं।
Maximum 5 subjects। Class 12 syllabus based।
Section 3 — General Test:
कुछ courses और universities के लिए mandatory।
Reasoning, GK, numerical ability, current affairs।
Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT) — online, exam centres पर।
Duration: हर paper 60 minutes — time management critical है।
No normalization of scores — सब students same level पर compete करते हैं।
250+ universities — फिर भी admission guaranteed नहीं
CUET score एक है — लेकिन admission process हर university की अलग है।
CUET देने के बाद हर university में अलग से apply करना होता है।
हर university अपना cutoff decide करती है —
DU का cutoff और BHU का cutoff same score पर different हो सकता है।
CUET score आने के बाद research ज़रूरी है —
कौन सी university में कौन से course के लिए आपका score sufficient है।
यह research पहले से करना — admission season में panic से बचाता है।
जो ज़्यादातर families miss करती हैं — 4 बड़ी गलतियाँ
पहली — CUET की preparation board exam जैसी नहीं है।
Pattern अलग है, speed important है, mock tests ज़रूरी हैं।
Board में well करने वाले students भी CUET में struggle कर सकते हैं अगर specifically prepare न करें।
दूसरी — Registration early होती है।
January–February में होती है — board results से महीनों पहले।
जो students यह miss करते हैं, वो उस साल CUET नहीं दे सकते।
तीसरी — APAAR ID mandatory है।
यह 12-digit academic ID है जो NTA registration के लिए ज़रूरी है।
चौथी — CUET score validity सिर्फ एक साल है।
हर साल नया exam देना होगा।
Students के लिए — CUET की तैयारी कैसे करें
जो अभी Class 11 में हैं:
CUET का pattern अभी से समझो।
Domain subjects वही हैं जो Class 12 में पढ़ोगे — लेकिन approach अलग है।
जो Class 12 में हैं या result का wait कर रहे हैं:
Previous year CUET papers solve करो — cuet.nta.nic.in पर free available हैं।
Pattern समझें, speed बढ़ाएं।
General Test skip मत करो —
कई popular courses और universities General Test score माँगती हैं।
Parents के लिए — CUET timeline क्या है और कब क्या करना है
November–December:
CUET notification आती है। Dates और universities announce होती हैं।
January–February:
Registration window — इसे miss करना सबसे बड़ी गलती है।
April–May:
Board results। CUET exam।
June–July:
CUET result। University-wise applications।
यह cycle हर साल repeat होती है।
जो family इसे पहले से समझती है — वो बेहतर decisions लेती है।
Bottom Line — आपको क्या समझना चाहिए
CUET India के higher education का नया gateway है।
Board marks मेहनत का proof हैं — achievement real है।
लेकिन DU, BHU, JNU, और 250+ universities में seat — CUET से मिलती है।
जितनी जल्दी यह समझ आए — उतना बेहतर।
